INTRODUCTION
This notice aims to select professionals in Integrated Water Resource Management, wastewater treatment, and sustainable water solutions from the INTERREG SOUTH ADRIATIC Program area (Puglia, Albania, and Montenegro) to participate in specialised training activities.
As part of the CROSSWATER+ project, this initiative seeks to reduce pollution and protect water resources by developing a joint solution to continuously monitor training needs and build tailored training programs.
This targeted training will focus on water leakage prevention, green technologies, cross-border water management, wastewater treatment and reuse, innovation in digital water solutions, and resilient infrastructure for sustainable water governance, equipping participants with practical skills and knowledge essential for the region’s sustainable development.
The CROSSWATER+ project partnership includes the following entities:
· Acquedotto Pugliese spa;
· Tirana Water and Sewerage Utility;
· Regional waterworks for Montenegrin Coast.
SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES
Among other project activities, activity 1.9 involves a 5-day training course in Tirana, Albania This training program includes both theoretical and practical components in the fields of water management. The training will last for 5 days, totalling 30 hours, and will take place from 14 to 18 April 2025.
During the sessions, experts will teach Water Leakage & Green Technologies, Cross-Border Water Management, Wastewater Treatment & Reuse, Innovation & Sustainable Water Solutions, and a Site Tour at Bovilla Water Treatment Plant & Reservoir to N°15 participants from the eligible area of the INTERREG SOUTH ADRIATIC Program (Puglia, Albania and Montenegro).
SUBJECT OF THE NOTICE
This notice aims to select 15 professionals in the water management sectors, specifically targeting to gain new knowledge and skills into Integrated water resources management.
Specifically, there will be 15 participants: 11 from Albania, 2 from Italy and 2 from Montenegro.
Participants will develop their skills in the water management sector, learning through practical experience, and will receive a certificate at the end of the training period. To obtain the certificate, each participant must attend at least 75% of the total course hours, equivalent to a minimum of 22.5 hours.
CONDITIONS FOR SELECTED TRAINEES
The selected young people will be guaranteed:
· Travel and accommodation expenses for the duration of the training (5 days) for 2 participants from Montenegro and for 2 participants from Italy;
· For the 11 participants from Albania, the coverage of accommodation expenses will be evaluated if they are not residents in the area, specifically if they live at least 45 km away.
· Meals for all 15 participants during the training (5 days).
· Workspace for individual or group work with other selected participants.
· Materials for workshop activities.
ELEGIBLE SUBJECTS
This call is aimed at professionals of all genders, specifically, there will be 15 participants: 11 from Albania, 2 from Italy and 2 from Montenegro.
APPLICATION SUBMISSION PROCEDURES
The application for participation must be completed using the attached model and must include, under penalty of exclusion:
· For professional, a CV in English and in the applicant's native language, a maximum of 3 pages for each language.
· The level of English proficiency, which may be self-certified; having recognised language certifications (e.g., TOEFL, Trinity College certifications, British Institute certifications, etc.) will carry more weight.
· It must be signed by the applicant;
· A copy of the valid ID of the applicant, duly dated and signed, must be attached;
· A motivation letter in English and in the applicant's native language, a maximum of 1 page for each language.
Candidates must submit their application, under penalty of exclusion, no later than 5 days from the date of publication of this call.
Only applications received within 5 days from the date of publication of this notice will be accepted.

Applications that are incomplete, not prepared according to the instructions provided in this paragraph, unsigned, lacking a signed copy of the ID, or submitted after the indicated deadline will not be considered and will be excluded.
The Selection Committee reserves the right to request original documentation to verify the data and information contained in the application and to suspend the review until the applicant presents the requested original documentation. If the applicant fails to provide the original documents within the allotted time, the application will be automatically excluded from the process. Participation in the selection implies full acceptance of the provisions contained in this call.
EVALUATION
Candidates will be selected based on their CV and artistic portfolio, the motivation letter attached to the application, and knowledge of the English language, according to the following scoring criteria (max points: 10):

Selected candidates will be notified by email.
The final list of selected candidates from the 3 areas (Puglia, Albania and Montenegro) will be published on the Albanian UKT website and on each partner's website.
